Making PostgreSQL View Tables Work for You

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Have you ever had routine calculations or spatial analysis to run on frequently updated data? Instead of setting up a script to run your models or calculations, let a PostgreSQL view table provide always updated spatial data and attributes. You can tailor these "layers" to show whatever your audience needs to see and access them via your desktop software of choice (QGIS, ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro) or via your web page.

This presentation will cover the basics of how to set up a view table and show some examples of ways it can help you manage your data. These workflows are ideal for open source users.
